As a young girl, Jean’s artistic nature showed its first promise by receiving
a variety of design awards working in mediums such as paper machie, water colors, and acrylic on fabric. Her designs of whimsical, wildly colored stuffed frogs and friendly spiders have brought joy to many.
Jean was one of the first to do custom designs and appliques for kids sneakers (back when they were all white). As a Patricia Stevens model, Jean designed a unique denim mini skirt for one of the
shows. It was an instant hit and was widely copied, becoming a West Coast classic

special collection of an ongoing series of limited edition wine glasses, designer hostess items. unique oil candles Each is an original design, hand painted with custom blended, lead free colors, and finished with a special
heat thru-cure process. A combination of art and utility, “Rimbrandts by j” are durable works
of art, meant to be used as well as
collected. If you look carefully, you will find the glasses are created so the
image looks as good from the inside as from the outside. This is Jean’s
special design technique at work.
